Chiropractic - The Initial Appointment

At your first appointment, our Chiropractor will take a full case history of your complaint, previous health history and conduct a thorough neurological, orthopaedic and chiropractic specific examination.

Once completed will then take the time to form a detailed diagnosis and if suitable they will discuss a treatment plan with you.

If no treatment or further investigation is advised our chiropractor will refer you for imaging or to an appropriate healthcare professional.

If treatment is advisable then your first treatment will be carried out at the same appointment time.

Chiropractors - Our Treatment

Before any treatment is carried out, our chiropractors fully explain what the problem is, what it will take to correct the problem and the costs involved.

The type of treatment you receive will depend on your individual treatment plan. Your treatment plan will depend on the severity of the complaint, how long you have been in pain, your age, your mobility and general fitness level.

Commonly our treatments include spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilisation, stretching and rehabilitative exercises.

It is always our aim to achieve lasting results in the fewest number of visits.
